My first ever flight was in 1972 on B.O.A.C., now British Airways. It was an overnight from Toronto to London and a good number of passengers were us high school students on a class trip. Those were some days! I remember that my return ticket was $83, a significant sum at the time. Nobody slept on the flight over, so in the morning of course, after landing, we still had a full day ahead of us. Unforgettable! The plane was huge and very comfortable, so glad I had the opportunity.
